Overview


The long awaited WSAG Evolution V3 Option File is finally available for everyone to download! The previous WSAG files where an instant hit with alot of people and V3 will sure not fail to impress. The third and final installment comes with an unbelievable amount of new teams, kits, players, stats, boots, emblems and logos than ever before. Everything has been taken into careful consideration to make sure this is a truly stand out option file.

Read on for the new contents of V3. (This list will be updated in due course).


WARNING: If you have already started a Master League with another Option File or even with the WSAG V1 OF, alot of players will have changed due to new teams being added (8 in total). I apologise for the inconvenience. I know it's a pain but i would recommend you start a new Master League when you download V2.

  • All emblems and logos have been completely edited, resized and tweaked using OPTPiX iMageStudio and Adobe Photoshop to the absolute highest quality......it is impossible to tell the difference between a licensed teams badge and an unlicensed team!
  • More Youth team players than ever before. From the Premiership to the Bundesliga, Fran Merida of Arsenal to dos Santos of Barcelona...tons of youngsters have been added.
  • All recently retired players have been overwritten.
  • Squad Numbers are 100% updated for every team.


  • New up to date boots have been created (thanks to Vixon) and all players have been allocated their correct boots.

  • Many player names on shirts have updated thanks to some great threads on evo-web and elsewhere.
  • Many new player appearances updated from all 3 major PES fansites; pesinsight, PESFan and evo-web.
  • Players who can do the Flip-Flap are now as follows (Unfortunately i have overwritten 2 of the original players from the dwevans file who could do the flip-flap and i can't remember who they are now!).

UEFA Champions League 2006/07


Included for the third and final installment are all 32 clubs participating in this seasons UEFA Champions League. Can you guide the small Bulgarian side Levski Sofia to the ultimate footballing prize or will you take an easier route and bring home the glory for Chelsea for the first time. From Shakhtar Donetsk to AC Milan, Steaua Bucharest to Barcelona every team and every player has been included.


The teams that have been replaced are as follows;

  • 2 Clubs from the original game make their return
- FC Kopenhagen replace Hearts


- Shakhtar Donetsk replace Santos

  • 3 Final Champions League sides are as follows
- Levski Sofia replace Sporting Braga

- Steaua Bucharest replace FC Basel

- Spartak Moscow replace Sparta Prague

Not much has changed with the International teams.


NOTE: The 4 missing World Cup teams do not feature in my option file.

  • All the World Cup 2006 squads are still in V3.


  • Al World Cup 2006 kits are included.
  • Japan and South Korea also have updated World Cup 2006 kits, complete with emblems.
  • Shirt emblems for the following International teams;

  • Steve McClarens most recent England squad has been added. Go back in time with a new manager and win the World Cup with Macca's squad!

How to transfer the OF onto you Memory Card/Hard Drive:


Using Xbox Max Drive...

1. Download and unzip the file

2. Make an archive (zip file) of the folder called UDATA

3. Drag this newly created zip file onto your maxdrive using the software.

4. Connect your maxdrive into one of your Xbox controller ports and load up PES5.


5. On the PES5 menu screen, go to Options > PES Data Control > Copy Saved Data. Then select the ‘Change’ option, and select the Datel Max Drive from the list.

6. Select the PES5 Option file present on the max drive, and then choose a slot on your hard drive to save the option file.
7. Once you have saved the file to your xbox hard drive/memory card, return to the main game menu and let play begin!

Using PS2 Max Drive...

1. Download and unzip the file

2. Select and drag the .max file onto the max drive software.



Using PS2 X-Port...

1. Download and unzip the file

2. Import the .xps file into your X-Port database using the X-Port software

3. Select and choose the 'Restore' option to transfer the option file onto your memory card.


Using PC...

1. Download and unzip the file

2. Copy the file entitled KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT and paste it into the folder My Documents > KONAMI > Pro Evolution Soccer 5 > Save > Folder 1



As highlighted in bold, the save folder above is located in My Documents and NOT the Konami folder in Program Files.


The file MUST be entitled KONAMI-WIN32PES5OPT for it to work, so do not change the name of the file.



Note: If you already have an existing option file on your memory card or hard drive, you will be asked if you want to overwrite it. If your current file is one you might want to go back to then you will want to back the file up first, before transferring this Option File.


To unzip a file you will need to download WinRar or Winzip if you haven't got one of these already.


If you follow these instructions, you should have no problems.
